Turnstone is reporting in for duty after a couple of months of online silencio. We’ve been hard at work and at large! We’ve completed a project for the New York Times, and a new, forthcoming feature for the UK Design Council about design leadership.In January, in London, Turnstone presented at The Sun, and reconnected with Matt Jones of Dopplr after way too long. In Chicago in February, Rachel reconnected with Monica Bueno of Bruce Mau Design and Ramia Maze of the Interactive Institute, Sweden.This month, Turnstone also presented at Frog Design, and welcomed Stamen Design to New York as their piece went on view at Design and the Elastic Mind at Moma. We just used up the last roll of Polaroid film taking photos of the inventors of Flickr: the history of photography in action. Last but not least, we are proud to introduce Turnstone’s graduate intern, Emery Martin. More from him here soon.
